RODMAN TECHNOLOGY

The new construction system is based on the lamination of a carbon fiber around polystyrene models with a smooth surface. The same model is kept within the mold during the body molding and is removed at the end of the process, fused at high temperatures.
A body with inner smooth sides is obtained, with no imperfections and with a more constant and controllable thickness. This system has considerable advantages even during the production process, allowing to eliminate imperfections that might emerge with the traditional molding system and that often cause structural failures.

CARBONIUM

All Rodman 100% carbon forks are produced with the derailleur hangers in one single piece without joints. This production method gives a better lateral stiffness with excellent cushioning performances on uneven roads.

SITTING POSITION

For a more comfortable riding position. A longer head tube allows a more upright and comfortable riding position. Therefore there is no need for lots of stem spacers, which means the bike has a sportier look. RODMAN MIZAR bikes still have the usual ride features, but are recommended for riders who prefer a more relaxed riding position.

SPECIFIC SECTIONS

The down tube of the Mizar frame increases the capacity of the structure to dampen the vibrations on the road and increases the stability of the bicycle.

CONIC STEERING TUBE

The conic steering tube ensures a perfect cycling style, especially on road curves and at high speeds. It reduces weight in the steering area and it simultaneously increases its stiffness. This enables a more stable ride and it improves the turning behavior and the bicycle handling.

PRESS-FIT

All Roadman frames feature the press-fit system for the bottom bracket. The use of a 85,6mm bottom bracket allows a significant robustness improvement of the area and a better performance of the frame structure under strain.

CARBON PROCESSING

Carbon processing plays an important role in the definition of the bicycle performances. Seatstays and the particular AVS carbon processing make the frames more comfortable.
